The first two nights I found the device at the foot of my bed and my teeth were sore when I woke up (especially the left arch); after a few days I was able to floss more easily with the sensation that the teeth had enlarged slightly, also the shoulder pain has declined although still there. After only 15 days I felt that ACOM had become a small part of me and allows me to relax my neck. December ’08, I no longer feel any pain in the shoulder and neck.

Initial symptoms: constant pain in my right shoulder and right side of the neck.

I had no problem getting used to the device that immediately gave me a feeling of improvement, but I would destroy one every 15 days and it had to be immediately replaced; by June ’07 the tensions has significantly decreased and I only broke one ACOM a month, then in September ’07 the symptoms had completely disappeared and the appliance no longer broke and on that occasion I said to Dr. Montorsi, “Now I smile to life!”

Initial symptoms: I wore orthodontic braces as a child for tooth correction and later as an adult to try and improve headaches and neck pain, unfortunately the symptoms have gradually worsened so I had to take strong analgesics such as Toradol on a daily basis without much benefit which prompted my doctor to send me to the neurologist who put me on psycho-pharmaceuticals drugs. I followed with great interest the First Course on Cranial-Occlusal Harmonization according to the Montorsi Method; moreover, I had, like other students, the opportunity to follow the “dentosophie” method brought to Italy by Dr. Raymond of the Michel Montaud School and could compare the two methods that are both from the same conceptual matrix, very respectful of the person that is subject of the treatment itself.

Both methods use soft mobile devices that activate corrective functional stimuli for the harmonious growth of the skull and mouth.

I could appreciate the centrality of personal life experiences as the factor that determines the occlusal-postural situation of the French School, while in the Montorsi Method the path of harmonization is through subsequent correct adjustments based on periodic visits (osteopathic evaluation tests for the various receptors and consequent changes to the apparatus) and the results over time are also higher than expected and almost unbelievable to those involved in traditional orthodontics with fixed appliances.

Within the first month we noticed a significant recess of the upper incisors towards the inside of the mouth. During the course of the therapy we witnessed many such changes even to the boy’s posture. We were pleasantly surprised by this fantastic method adopted by Dr. Montorsi which we learned of by chance. It is a pity that this biologically natural technique is not well known. Personally, we do an ardent promotion and never stop thanking him and hope that many other doctors could learn from him and expand his technique in order to help many other people.

Initial symptoms: extremely protruded upper incisors and narrow palate for which the orthodontist had recommended treatment with various appliances and the extraction of 4 healthy premolars. Opposed to such treatment we looked for an alternative therapy and after having seen his website we turned to Dr. Montorsi. I cannot deny a certain degree of scepticism given the orthodontic premise; in addition to everything Michael had a headache several times per month, a swollen belly and did not walk properly.

Headaches disappeared almost immediately and by June ’06 I noticed a slight change in the shape of the face which is becoming more round.

Initial symptoms: severe migraine headaches several times a day on the right side of the skull.

In January the migraines and back pain have already disappeared, I started to notice an improvement in chewing and a decline in joint pain and menstrual discomfort; by February ’06 also noticed that I started to chew on the right side (for a year I could chew only on the left side). In addition to net physical improvements I found an enhancement in psychological well-being and physical and mental relaxation; my sleep that was already fulfilling became deeper with a decrease in nightmares and morning tensions. At the beginning of therapy I perceived the device as a foreign body, now it is indispensable and necessary at times when the mind and body are in tension. I’m really happy!

Initial symptoms: difficulty chewing, pain in the right ATM (temporomandibular joint), migraines several times a week, back pain which I attribute to my work as restorer of works of art.
